Assignment 24: Photobooky

Using a digital camera (35mm may be too expensive - unless you've got the dough to support this, I don't know - you fancy rich kids)...
anyway, using a digital camera, make a bet as to how many pictures you can take in a two hour time span. Pictures of one person, alone, looking at the camera, aware that you are stealing their souls. With competition you have a purpose to take photos and you can beat someone else. Winner gets a cookie.

reasons why this will be fun...
1) people love pictures and having their picture taken
2) give you a reason to take a picture of that special lady friend or gentleman caller you've been crushin
3) record you life and friends, because some people don't take pics of their everyday life - but that's what's important.
4. You could win a cookie.

Assignment 23: A Kiss Can't Miss!

As we enter the holiday weekend, I want each and every one of you ESAers to carry a small piece of mistletoe in your pocket.

Assign kisses to people that you deem appropriate to be kissed, and hold that mistletoe over their heads and kiss them as much and as often as possible. Don't stop until you get to fifty.

Life seems too short to me to not have extra kisses, and after you start this assignment, I'm sure you'll feel the same. Give the gift of your kiss this season, and don't look back for anything.

Assignment 22: The Hospitality Industry..lets make it hospitable

So I work at a restaurant, at least I do for the remainder of the year before I move westward in hope of being a writer...anyway.

Let's all be nice to people at restaurants this week and play a fun game. It's called "Go-To-A-Cafe-or-Eatery-or-Place-of-Food-Purchases-and-Order-Something-Small-and-Cheap." Your waiter or waitress will look at you and be ticked off and prolly mumble means things about you behind your back.

But after you finish that lone piece of cake or cup of coffee, be sooooo coooool and leave like a 700% tip IN CASH. 'Cause at this time of the year - we all need a little extra pocket change. I will love you forever if you do this.

Assignment 21: PLAY house & ACTION

This one comes from a long time reader, first time commenter.

The secret word today is "RUTABAGA"

(Editor's note:

ru·ta·ba·ga n.
1. A European plant (Brassica napus var. napobrassica) having a thick bulbous root used as food and as livestock feed.
2. The edible root of this plant.

Who says you don't learn things from your ESAs?

...and now back to your regularly scheduled assignment.)

To make it interesting for everyone else, yell like in Pee-Wee's Playhouse whenever anyone says it.

See if this one gets you that promotion you've been wishing for.

Smiles and high fives.

Assignment 19: Newspaper Clipping

In the Sunday paper, usually there is some sort of "neighborhood news" or school news, or wedding announcements. Well scour the pages and find someone you DON'T know, cut the article out, and Monday - put it up. Either at work on your cubicle wall, or in the front of your binder, just some place where people will notice. Then, when they ask about the clipping, make up some outrageous story, be creative, about how you know the person. I mean elephants, Star Trek conventions and Spanish surfing lessons should all be the MINIMUM baseline of your stories. Have fun. :)

Assignment 18: Hey Buddy

Call everyone you meet today "Buddy" or "Champ" or even "Partner" (but only if said in a southern accent) Try to also do the buddy shoulder punch too, adding to the Buddy affect.

And apologies for the lateness of the post - I have no excuse except that it was my birthday and I've been drunk...for 6 days.
